At my wits end
Mercedes SLK 250d AMG sport 2016
Serviced annually no problems until...
6 months ago EML came on.
Took to LOCAL GARAGE diagnosed DPF -replaced
1 mile driven. EML again
Diagnosed EGR valve- replaced
Drove 400metres EML again
Diagnosed adblue injector needed replacement
Drove 0.5 mile EML again
Returned to be told nothing they could they do they couldn't get the light off so advised take to mercedes specialist
Mercedes independant specialist diagnosed filter-
Replaced drove 2 days EML AGAIN
Returned diagnosed nox sensors- Replaced
Drove 10 days EML
Diagnosed adblu injector AGAIN replaced
Drove 3 days EML again
Diagnosed adblu pump
I am sat in the garage now with it and i am up to £7000 in the last couple months
Anyone have any idea what going on???

Question for Mercedes Independant Specialist :

"Are you using genuine MB Star/Xentry Diagnostics, a Chinese copy or a 3rd party diagnostic??"

If the answer is not the first of the 3 options, look elsewhere for someone that has that (and does not charge MB main dealer rates). Do not replace any more parts until you've found that outfit.

Unfortunately it does sound like a game of 'Parts Darts' so far.
As Chris says, an indie with STAR is what you need.

I suppose it depends where in Devon you are, but I've got family in Teignmouth and they've used these people
