Cant beleive Mercedes Brentford parts department.
Ordered a spare key for my mercedes sprinter just last week, and they charged me £67 just for the key and then want an extra £100 once they key arrives to program that key so it will work in the van. Thought that was a little expensive but then Mercedes sales guy in part says only they can only cut and program keys.
Now just today walked in to an local auto parts shop and they managed to cut and program they key for £30 all inclusive there and then with no issues.
Rang Mercedes and explained my frustration, and they couldn't say anything further so i said keep the key that i have paid £67 for as i cannot see why i should pay an extra £100 just for a % min programme. So thats £67 they have managed to keep from me for nothing. Why i bothered going to Steeler dealers i dont know......
