Hi..new to this.. hopeing to get some help as my sprinter van is overheating. I can keep it running on about 90 if I keep the revs low and heaters blasting!
It's not loosing any water and the oil looks clean.
I had the oil cooler changed a while back as it had oil in the water system.
I have had the cooling system checked and no obvious problems seen..help!
It has been suggested to change the thermostat but someone else said if the heater working it's not that..help!
i can't take it any distance ATM as don't want to cause any damage.
 
If you run the the engine till warm , touch squeeze the top hose coming out of the block thermostat , if its cold ishh then thermostat stuck shut hence overheating.
