Hi All,

I am about to buy a E350 cdi Coupe and wondered if I should go for their (MB dealer) paint and interior treatment or go for some detailer supplied equivalent service that will offer better protection (if that is possible)
MB dealer wants to charge a few Hundred for the work

I live in SE London, let me know if you recommend anyone down here who can be trusted with my new Baby.

Hi there,

I can offer detailing treatments that are way beyond the skills of any dealerships. As well as offer the most durable protections in the world. Take a look at the fiat tributo post I just posted as well as many posts of mb club members cars I have done. I am also based in Maidenhead on the M4 so not to far away from you.

All my info is in my sig below this,

Cheers
Mike

I would like the long term protection and not needing to Polish after washes that the Merc dealer told me I would get with their products both inside and out.

What is your equivalent service for this? Did I mention that I want the paintwork to look rich and deep and to be mirror smooth to the touch etc..

But seriously, yes I saw your other post..Fiat looks amazing after your work, welldone.

I will be collecting the car from Sytner on Monday as a used car with 20k miles on it. What would you recommend and how much?

Hi, heres some of my recent from here to show you the level I generally go on my standard correction/crystal lacquer details:

A couple of 1080p HD Videos of Mercedes that Ive completed from my youtube channel:

Mercedes C63 AMG PPP-Complete G-Techniq Treatment - YouTube

Mercedes C63 AMG-32 Hour Paint Correction & Localised Wet Sanding. - YouTube

Gemclean Detailing-Mercedes CLK DTM Enhancement Detail. - YouTube

My work speaks for it self and its usaully me fixing what dealerships mess up. My knowledge, skills & products would put any dealership to shame, but then garages dont charge for bespoke car treatments. star guard is a cheap as chips products the a single coat of cheap collinite wax would out do. If its long term protections you need Gtechniq C1 will offer around 30,000 miles and it actually will work! you can upgrade it to have EXO v2 which would add between 5-7k extra but the hydrophobic coating would be unrivaled. I can cater this for paint, glass, wheels, leather, fabric, soft tops, exhausts etc. Email me @

Only problem I have is its a 6 week waiting list at the mioment:(

Kind Regards
Michael

That is bull, it will maybe last 6 months at best.

Detailer all the way.

Seen a Mercedes done recently from a MB dealership and wasn't impressed with Star Gaurd, plus the detailer would be nearly cheaper.

Plus a dealer would just cover the paint defects too.

My car has star guard as it was chucked in by the dealer as part of the deal and to be honest I don't know what it did or does as I can see no difference between mine and any other car.

Pro detailed ftw mate. I'm an amateur (well been doing it for 5 years) and I'm sure I could do a far better job then any dealership.

In the same situation. I'm picking up a White Facelift E Class Estate in a few weeks and wish to get the paint protected. I have read a lot of information on forums and I think the general consensus is to get a new car detailed by a professiona,l rather than "Star Garded". Can anyone recommend someone in the Salisbury area?

Many thanks
