Hi everyone can anyone help, I had two injectors replaced and a lot of black tar type stuff removed from rocker cover but now I have oil leaking from breather pipe, is this normal or is it something the garage has done? , any help appreciated

Hello, the breather pipe may not be in place. I find it a bit tricky to get the pipe back on under the cover. If u remove air intake pipe , the egr and the top cover you can see where it connects. or maybe before removing the top cover you can see if its plugged into the back of the intake pipe. Should be easily sorted.

Have checked that and it is fitted in proper place, also done oil change and made sure correct amount was put back in?

So clean it up and find out where the oil is coming from then. Is it pooling around the injectors ? When my cam cover leaks it pools there and leaks out to the right of the engine through a little drain pipe beside the turbo inlet pipe. You need to mop up first and try identify the source (easy for me to say) Then we can try offer solutions.

I had all apart weekend ran engine but could not find it leaking anywhere? , when I took cover off there was pooling of oil around injectors so cleaned it all off, left engine running for a good half hour but no sign of oil anywhere HELP DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO??????

So you have cleaned the oil off and no sign of leaks, is that not a good thing ? Dry off all round and check again next week. I punctured the end of injector bolt hole on second inj from drivers side and oil came out so i guess an oil gallery is under it. The oil seems to be stopped coming out after the bolt went in tight. Anyway you will just have to keep an eye onit and try spot it where it starts. Doesnt sound bad anyway

Hi thought I would let you know took it back to garage and they found a hairline crack in the rocker cover, they said it could of happened when the company drilled out old injectors???
