Can anyone give me a few tips on changing an inner cv gaiter on a 108cdi vito traveliner.
does the drive shaft have to be removed and if it does from what end.
would be nice to have a bit of advise before i have a go.,

Sorry cant advise specifically on vito but dont use the universal boots that you glue/zip together. Then never last very long.
If there is a bolt on flange on the diff/gearbox then you might be able to do it without removing shaft. Otherwise it will be a shaft out job a a guess. If you do have to take shaft out try and undo the big CV nut in the middle of the wheel with the car still on all 4 wheels as they are done up VERY tight.

Good luck, as I say I have no experience of a vito just lots of other cars. If you are unsure or dont have the proper tools then best to get a reputable garage to do it.
Should only take a skilled pro about 1hr tops.

i think there is a bolt on flange , maybe ill be lucky.

thanks

Stretchy boots are about a tenner. Have just changed an outer one on my E320.

Never an easy job!
