mercedes w123 240D BONNET

Does anyone know if its possible to adjust a w123 bonnet to even out the gap between the bonnet and the wings, ie move a little to left or right (not the height) so thats the gap as you look down on the bonnet

I would imagine you would have more luck adjusting the panel gaps by loosening the front wings than the bonnet. Unless the bonnet has been previously removed and now is not sitting correctly?

Cheers yes you are probably right its had an event; lets say at some point in its life so will never be 100%

Unless the bonnet has been recently resprayed you might be able to make out where the bolts have been placed for most of the cars life and re-align based on that.
