Hi all

I'm after the ubiquitous window mechanism for my 260E, as I have the usual stripped teeth problem... Haven't had much luck with breakers around London - there are a few on E-bay to try but I thought I'd post here first in case somebody has one for sale!

The motor is still working so I don't desperately need one, however if yours is offered with one I'll probably take it as a spare

Cheers

Owen

W124 front window regulators

Purchased W124 front window regulators from Taiwan after searching all over for replacements. Received them this week very promptly and by the looks of them they are of good quality. I'll be installing them this week. I'd suggest them. My front windows are used a lot as I use my E200 as my Taxi!!

W124 Window Regulator

I have just bought a Rear Pass window regulator £30 inc VAT and delivery off a breaker on ebay. Does anyone know where I can get it fitted without being ripped off in South MAnchester/Cheshire area?

A Garage stripped the side door panel off for me, so half the labour has been done I guess.

Thanks

All the time and effort that is required to fit a regulator and you fit a second hand one? :dk:

To be fair, the regulators only take about 1/2 hour to fit on 124 saloons/estates. Maybe Sp!ke is thinking of the type held on by rivets like on some coupé models?

They're quite old cars now so I can see why people would look to fit a use part bearing in mind the cost of a new replacement.

Will
