Mercedes w140 auto central locking

hi I have a 1998 mercedes Benz s class w140 model and I had recently replaced the battery and the one touch feature for windows stopped working, so I reset it back to normal.
Also, after changing the battery, when driving off, the central locking would lock automatically, when above 10mph, but now when driving off, central locking doesn’t lock automatically, do I have to reset it again? If so, how?

'In park put the key to position two and hold the upper portion of the central locking switch for 5 seconds.'

Are you sure that is the correct way?

No I'm not sure but wondered was it the same as a e class 210. If I could find a hand book I'm sure it would be in there.
