Hi all I have an e350 bluetec convertible on a 2011 plate for some reason it cranks trys to start but wont is there any fuses that I can check where are the fuse boxes located also anyone come across this thankyou all please help

Petrol or Diesel, mileage of the vehicle? The handbook will show you the location of the fuses.

Has there been any work carried out on the car prior to the starting problem? Initial thoughts would be low fuel pressure but ideally it needs to be scanned for fault codes. Can you get it recovered to a garage?

If it was serviced by Mercedes in last year you will have Mobilo breakdown cover.

Hi pal thank you so much for your reply really appreciated I have a icarsoft diagnostic machine and it's coming up with 146300 code saying component r48 open circuit could this be the reason why it cranks but wont start thanks again

Petrol or Diesel?

R48 seems to be a temperature sensor in the thermostat. I suppose if this fails the ECU may not know what parameters to set but I would have thought it would still start.

Bluetec is diesel.

Read live data of rail pressure when cranking

P146300 Sensor 'Low fuel pressure and fuel temperature' has a malfunction during calculation of the fuel pressure.

R48 is related to temperature sensorScreenshot_20240914-202719~2.png

Any work done on it lately ? Any history of fuel filter change ? Have you checked for fuel at the filter via ign cycling ?

R48 looks to telling you ,the sensor in your thermostat is faulty.
