When should i change oil and filter?
Secondly- my car gives me 20mpg in town and 30 mpg on motorway if i drive on 60-70 miles
Is this a good mileage?

Change the oil and filter when the service indicator tells you to do so.

Mileage is reasonable.

Changing the oil is always a good preventative maintenance to do. Personaly I like to change my oil twice a year and the filter once a year as the oil is the life blood of the car.

Others will say thats too often but its up to you and will do the car no harm only goodnes !!

on average mileage of say 12K miles a year then changing the oil annually is fine. If you drive hard and fast it will burn out quicker.

Always use the recomended viscisity or as close to it as possible, for me Mobil 1, 0-W40 is what my CLK 230 Kompressor uses.

A for mpg I would say its about right what your getting....

I can get 40mpg on motors over 3hour drives, but its at 55 mph , at 70 its more around 34mpg and in town 22- 24mpg
