Just thought I'd start a thread on how well your car performs in MPG (Miles Per Gallon)

Be kind enough to participate in posting the following info (copy and paste the template into your post):

-----------------------------------////\\\\---------------------------------

Model:
Fuel:
Garage Total Fuel Cost:
Total Miles used before refill:
Average MPG:

-----------------------------------////\\\\---------------------------------

My results thus far:

Model: A170 Cdi (2003)
Fuel: Diesel
Garage Total Fuel Cost: £30
Total Miles used before refill: 272
Average MPG: 51.52

you can use the Fuel Usage Calculator here: Fuel Calculators » Fuel-Economy.co.uk

Hi Reedswood

Model:C63
Fuel:Premium Petrol

Garage Total Fuel Cost:£75
Total Miles used before refill:250
Average MPG:19-20

Model: E320 cdi (2005)
Fuel: diesel
Garage Total Fuel Cost: approx £90
Total Miles used before refill: actually, never took note of this - sorry
Average MPG: approx 33 mpg combined

I don't really check the consumption on my SLK 350, it ranges from 24 to 28mpg depending on usage.

The computer says over the last 14,000 miles its done 25.3mpg.

These are figures from stats as shown on my signature:

Model: 2007 E320 CDi Avantgarde 4 door
Fuel: BP Ultimate Diesel (if available)
Garage Total Fuel Cost: £34.43
Total Miles used before refill: 204.8
Average MPG: 34.3

However, some thoughts, the "Garage Total Fuel Cost" and "Total Miles used before refill" will depend on your fuel buying habits.

I usually fill right up after I finish work for the day, so that I have a fully-fuelled car ready to go the next morning (and I can also compare to how much I've earned to the amount of fuel I bought).

Some people always fill right up when their tank is nearly empty, or some put £10 or £20 in a time or some other nice round figure, so they can quickly pay using a banknote, or for financial reasons, or you may fill up to ensure you have enough fuel for whatever length of journey you're going to undertake.

Fuel buying habits will depend on different circumstances. :):thumb:

Welcome to the world of 80 litre tanks at 127.9ppl.

Exbenzive does not cover it...

An C240 I would have expected to be well and truly in the 20's MPG wise. I have to really press on to do that./

My Stats for 2010 (in euros and L/100km)

Car: 2006 S203 or 2005 W203 (220CDI)

I don't think that MPG figures from a single tank tell you very much at all!! From a single tank my MPG has varied from 31.80 to 19.45!!
