HI everybody,

I have 17x7.5 ET 35 alloy wheels and is going to buy new michelin tires for my mercedes w124 230e.Michelin has just released the pilot sport A/S plus and i am probably going to buy them.

Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus (Ultra High Performance All-Season)
* Size: 215/45ZR17
* Load Range: XL
* Blackwall
* ZR Speed Rated
* Serv. Desc: 91W
* UTQG: Treadwear: 500
Traction: AA
Temperature: A500 AA

Will these tires be good for my w124 230E or not?There are people saying that these tires cause loss of speed and deliver harsh rides.Is that true??

Waiting for replies.

thanks a lot.

I'll be interested too. Do they do a 225/55 R17 104W XL?

I don`t if is any good to you,but a friend of mine has 4 fairly new Michelin Pilot HX MXM 235/55 R17 for sale.

225/45 is a better match to the rolling radius of the original tyre fitment. 215s will drop your gearing by about 1.5%

The shape of the edge of the tyre will probably determine whether it rubs at the front on full lock or through dips. It may well do
