Hi

I need to call on your technical expertise.

I use terminal services at work to work from our company servers, but sometimes use files off line on my laptop. Is there a way to use the Briefcase application to sync files on my shared drive on the server and my laptop?

Or is there a third party application that would work?

Thanks

Tan

Tan,
That is the exact purpose of the briefcase. However, if other users are also using the same network files on their laptops then it might cause conflicts.
Create a briefcase on your laptop and drag and drop the files from the network to your briefcase and that will set up a sync link.

Terminal Services is now Remote Desktop...

Active Sync / Offline files has replaced briefcase...

LOL, I was reading the first post and had to check the date of posting. :D

Yep. Its prehistoric but manytimes useful. Though it does the same work as "Offline files" but in some situations the briefcase becomes inevitable... perhaps thats the reason it existed in Windows 95 and still exists in Vista 12 years later.

I have a few people here who still use it and find it more reliable then offline files.
