Mine is S212 2010 E250 with about 25 times mourre myles than the projected pedometer data taken from a certain proclaimers song.
Inevitably moving plastic parts dry out.
I had a squeaky gear shifter which i moisturised with a rub of silicone grease. I removed the accelerator pedal and silicone spray silenced that squeak.
Also took out the passenger under seat storage box and softened its rattle and squeak with carefully directed silicone spray.
Now I need to silence the steering wheel. It squeaks at the wheel and not down the column. Just where it rotates. Is there a diy on the obvious place to grease or is there an access to spray in a touch of silicone?
I reckon a removal is required but if avoidable that would suit.
