"It’s MOT history is impeccable, throughout it’s 17 year life this car has never failed an MOT nor has it ever had an advisory on an any MOT this is unheard of"
It might appear a good one if you just 'skim read' the advert, but there are a number of alarm bells ringing. First and foremost the lack of any explanation as what has happened to the car during the last 7 or 8 years? As 'pmcgsmurf' mentioned the missing 6 years MOT? These are the kind of cars that need to be used on a regular basis, not stored for a few years. Also the ad clearly states he claims to be a professional, serious dealer of prestigious marques yet doesn't know or understand that the CL does NOT have air suspension, it's hydraulic!
It could well be a very, very example, but having owned one for nearly 9 years there a lot of questions that need to be suitably addressed.
It's been for sale for at least a few months. This is the third time I've seen it on Ebay and with each new advert the price has gone up by about £2k! Maybe the seller thinks it's got more chance of selling the higher the price goes!
