I have the electronic folding wing mirrors on my new W176 and was pretty disappointed when I realised the puddle lights on the underside of them aren't LED, so not only do they ruin the look of the car (yellow light reflecting on the paintwork) but they also seem fairly useless, I didn't even know they were there until I looked when the mirrors were folded in and could see the yellow reflected light.
I've seen a few guides online on how people have changed them but I'm a little reluctant to mess about with a brand new car. Is anyone able to reassure me?
Also, the guides are from people in the US and there has been a number of posts about the wrong bulbs, the right bulbs not being bright enough, etc. Does anyone have a link to bulbs they've used and can confirm are good?
