Car
GLB 220D 4Matic P+
I went out to my local Tesco this afternoon, (Beer Run) Parked about 20 Feet from another White GLB 73 Plate, locked my car and when I passed the other GLB commented to the bloke who was checking his Tyre Pressures!:

"Very Nice Car, excellent Colour, very nice choice of Motor";)

Reply: "What makes you think you have the right and audacity to comment on what car I am driving Chunter, Chunter, Chunter"

FFS, What is the World coming to! :dk::doh::wallbash::mad:

That's a pretty obtuse response from Mr GLB for sure. Some people don't take compliments well hahahaha

I applaud your audacity sir

He wasn't checking the tyre pressures.... he was stealing the wheels! :D

Sounds like a right @rsehole, I often comment on nice motors, particularly other Mercs, always get a good response. Don't know about you lot, but I can pretty much, gage straight away someone you can talk to or have a laugh with, and I'm never far wrong. Obviously John, got it wrong this time, the miserable git. The other guy, John, not you. 😉🙂👍

Perhaps he'd seen yours, and thoght it was much nicer than his, and thought you were being sarcastic. Or maybe he hates the thing, and really wanted an Audi, but his wife made him buy it. What sort of age was this grump?

Or maybe he wass a Sassenach and jist couldnae understand ye...

In the words of the miserable bard "I don't belieeeve it"

Maybe he had been sent out in his (bosse's/relative's) white GLB to do the tyre pressures for them. A job that he resents, almost as much as the fact that he could never aspire to owning a nice car himself ?
Or maybe simply a bigoted racist, who feels that any comment from someone with a "foreign accent" are beneath contempt, irrespective of the content of the statement.??

As has been noticed recently, there seems to be a large body of folk out there just waiting to be offended. You just happened to be his excuse yesterday.
Fortunately, they still are still outnumbered by proper, decent people.....at the moment...

How dare you!!!!!! 🤬 😁

Same thing happened to me yesterday , i was in Tesco car park waiting on the missus and decided to check the tyre pressures on my new GLB , next thing a foreigner in a tweed skirt approached me , dont know what he said but it sounded very aggressive plus as i was bending down and he was "commando" i got a right eyeful , which put me right off my dinner as it looked as if there was some "chaffing" going on as tweed and skin is not a harmonious relationship.

Tried to communicate with him but he just muttered something and headed into Tesco , probably to buy some Sudocrem for his nasty predicament.

Some people - eh.

I actually find that quite offensive.

I now expect you to write an apology.

I doubt I'll accept it but I still expect you to write one.

Otherwise I'll get more offended.
