A lot of the accident damage stuff will take the title for this thread, I’ve seen cars where you’d struggle to make out the manufacturer being described as “light damage”.
This is a Paul Banham conversion, they had several offerings, including a ‘James Dean’ Porsche lookalike based on a rear engined Skoda, and a Frogeye Sprite (they called it the Sprint) from a Mini, both of which, tbh, apart from the Sprint’s wheels looking a bit small, worked quite well.
This though, either the Banham X99 or X21, (both a tilt at the Audi TT) didn’t, IMO.
At the time, 20-ish years ago, their USP was that, as they were body conversions, rather than ‘from scratch’ kit cars, they weren’t subject to SVA test. I believe this subsequently changed when the SVA test itself was superseded.
in that instance , doesn't the photograph fully disclose the condition ? The vehicle may well otherwise have been well cared for and 'looked after' by its owner ?
