Ml 270 stretch bolt thread stripped

Hi all I live in Surrey and need help.
Re the subject it has gone and the bolt won't screw down.
Does anyone know of someone local to me who won't charge the earth to cut a knew thread etc
The reason for the urgency is that Iam getting married in 4 weeks and need the car for the big day hence the reason for not being charged the earth.
Any help anywhere would be greatly appreciated.

Can you not just clean it up with a tap and die set?

I don't know how and don't have the tools or the confidence to do it.

Out of interest how did you come to know the thread was damaged?

Iam in Epsom and part of the thread came out with the bolt !!!
