hi all hope we all well...can i bypass the heat exchanger on my car?.. effectivly running fuel line straight to the fuel filter and bypassing the bits on manifold? thanks

Its probably possible but the cooler obviously does an important job otherwise it wouldnt be there.

Not sure on the merc but on my last disco it was to keep fuel temps down.

Item 41 2nd and 3rd pic down, its on the return side and not only receives fuel from injectors but also from the common rail so i would say the fuel temps are bloody hot.
