ml 270cdi /sat/nav????

can some 1 ,help .i have been offered a sat nav unit for an ml type 163, the unit is a bosch 2.0 . can any 1 tell me how it is possible to wire this in to the merc it has not had 1 standard fit .rang mercedes and they told me it is very difficult need wire ing cable that will have to go under the roof line-ing ,the unit come,s on it,s own just the the t.v. unit has any 1 done this before what do you think . i am a mechanical fitter by trade now retired .so the hand,s on i can handle but would like as much info on this as possible mercedes like,s to keep thing,s to them selve,s all the help i can get will be exccessible,y grate full

anyway, take a look at the how to section of this site - its for a CLK but in the ML, it will be more or less the same, plus u dont need to worry about canbus!
