ML 300 rust to undercarriage

I bought an 2011 ML 300 4 weeks ago from a dealership.
Since then I have notice quite a bit of rust components on the underside of the vehicle, rear cradle, below the sill, gear sump pan are the main areas of concern.


Given that the vehicle is only slightly more than three and half years old .... is this acceptable?
Any advise would be welcomed

If you are sure this is an actual rust problem then i would be concerned. If you have only just bought the vehicle I would be taking it back to the dealer. Could be that the previous owner was off roading it! If you could post some photos that would help .
