ML CD Changer

I have got a 9 pin "none fiber optic" CD changer "cx-cp2810s" mercedes part no: (A1638201389) with all the fittings for the boot and fits OK, but not pre-wired, (Q1) My w163 ML as comand, so can it be connected to the said unit with no firbe optic, (Q2) If possible how to wire it up.

COMAND needs the fibre optic CD changer i'm afraid.

Thanks Richard, So if I do away with the comand, Any idea what would be compatable in its place, As I can bring my TomTom out of retirement to replace the SatNav.

Why dont you put in the MB 6 CD changer ?

Or you could use a dension gw500 and connect up an ipod full of music (track selection you still need to use the iPod to see the names of what U are selecting)

Most car value guides show MB with COMAND worth a load more than MB without COMAND !
