ML coolant reservoir sensor

Hi, Does anyone know if the level sensor in the coolant reservoir on a w163, 2002 ml270 is replaceable?, or is it a fixed, non-removable part of the tank?

Don't know myself, but found this on the USA forum and thought it may help.

I'm sure it's part of the tank itself. Coolant light on?

Coolant light on?

No problems with the light but the 2 small bore hose connections from the header tank are fractured and leaking (at least until i applied araldite which seems to have stopped any leaks for now)

I just wasnt sure if a new tank would include a new sensor.
