Hi hope someone can help the other day I was at the back of my car
And noticed that the bottom part of the tailgate light was not on but the
Top part was the one on the left was completely light my question is this
The way it should be and is there bulbs in that unit that can be replaced or
Do you have to replace the whole unit my car is a ML w166 2012

They should all be on. If it was like mine, the light somehow had an ingress of water, no idea how as its completely in tact! The PCB had suffered some water damage and even after I dried it out, the bars were not illuminating albeit fog light was.
Bonkers that you cant buy the required PCB with the LEDs on, as the PCB is a plug and play unit, but there again that would be too easy wouldn't it!

The top part of mine lights up and the fog light does
As well it just seems to be the two bars at the bottom that's
Why I was asking if the bottom should be on as well
