Hi can anyone give me any info on ml suspension faults.
its down on drives side front corner I didn't think it had air but I guess it does.... no off road settings or sports mode are there simple things it could be or is this new suspension unit.
not that I will make any difference but it dropped on night after hard frost.
any advice would be great.
thanks in advance.

That sounds like an airmatic fault, ie air suspension, strange that you have no controls inside the car though.

If it does have airmatic then it’s likely to be the airbag that has failed, new struts are available le aftermarket.

Before spending any money though I would get the fault diagnoses just in it’s not the air bag, or doesn’t have airmatic.

I was wondering if there is a control valve or pipe that has split that could cause it

Broken springs seemed to be a regular occurrence on noughties C and E class models, but I’ve not read of it happening on ML class models.

If the spring snapped part way up, then that could explain dropping on one corner o my, and would explain the lack of Airmatic controls inside the car.
