Hi all
Has anyone else experienced this problem, both front windows of a friends ML270 Yr 2000 are getting scrapped on the outside by the action of the windows going up and down, they have owned the car from new and it only has 30K on clock. Neither their VW van or Toyota Landcruiser which are much older, parked in the same place overnight and are subject to infinitley more abuse have any scraps at all.
They spoke to the local dealer who advised them to go to Autoglass
The glass just seems too soft, is this another case of cost cutting?
Also when the same dealer was asked for headlamp stickers for driving on the continent they told them to use selotape
And when questioned on the CD or whatever it is for Sat Nav for driving in France they were quoted £110+vat.
They are not happy MB customers.
