get a facelifted one. So much better
14K is a bit of an in between amount.. it will get you last of the old shape and maybe a high mileage new shape.. stretch a bit and get a nicer new shape..

facelift is from 51 onwards.. late 2001...
then you had the inspiration special editions from 2004 and then late 2005 was the new shape.

I bought a ML350 (petrol) 06MY single owner with!3k milesand a lot of kit on from Western Mercedes this week. Paid £20K for it.
I looked around and it seemed the most competitively priced
I collect end of this wek but am delighted with the deal

I have the old shape but facelifted W163 ML350. Decided on petrol as I don't do the miles to warranty paying more for a derv up front.
I've had it just on two years and its been great.
I searched for a while and went for the Inspiration model, much nicer inside and some nice bits outside. Also I would say go for the family and lux pack. Currently we are actualy using mine as a 7 seater !!! so its very handy.
I'm tempted to change for a new shape, but to be honest other than it being a new shape it will do no more than mine and its getting used quite well at the moment

Here is mine and I'm more than happy with it,
Ive had 3 LR Discos before I saw the light and got my ML. Took me 2 days to change the rear discs and pads on the Disco. Just done the ML took me an hour!!
Merc spares are reasonabe too even from main dealers.
