ML270 In Limp mode

Hi all my Ml270 has gone into limp mode it only does this whilst driving along, and will not rev above 3000rpm I had it plugged into Star and it came up with fault codes P1187- rail preasure monitoring and P1470- Boost preasure control. In neutral it revs up fine as normal but as soon as its in gear after about 10s goes into Limp mode I have swaped left and right Tranducers and its made no difference any ideas?

Just an update It will not rev normally above 3000rpm in neutral as I previously stated

I believe more modern MB diesels will not rev past 3k when stationary? Looked at a Vito and was told that afterwards.

You really need to get it on a star system as generic readers don't really tell you much.

Try a friendly merc indie for a proper diagnostics. It does save you time and money in the long run

Well tonight I took off the passenger inner wheel arch and noticed a bit of an oil leak from the inlet manifold also the flap/swirl motor won't move when engine is revved is this normal or do you need to be driving?. When the ignitions off all flaps And motor move freely.
