ML270CDI 2002 creeky sound from the O/S/R suspension

Has anyone come across a creeky sound from the rear suspension of their ML. This sound only comes about when I go over a bump or rock the rear of the car.

I'm suspecting its some sort of a worn bush or something.


Any ideas before I tackle the the problem?

Will be jacking it up sometime today and having a look.

Moved to wheels and tyres

I have this on the rear of the E55.
I have had it up on stands and it looks like a bush has dried out.
A bit of WD40 and it's ok now.
Maybe it's something to do with all the dry weather down south

Jacked it up yesterday and cannot see any bush problem, but I will now try some WD40.

Its the rear bush, we get this quite a lot on ML's, especially those with wheel carriers.

There are a few bushes at the bottom, any in particular and any idea of cost? and best place to buy.
