Hi All
Ok so I am no mechanic, I fact I am far from it, a middle aged woman that struggles to know where the fuel tank is when it needs fuel.....
So I need to buy a replacement rear SAM, as mine has drowned (sent off to be diagnosed). The unit is too damaged to be repaired.
I have looked at the usual eBay etc, they look the Same but appently Not compatible.
So my question is does the part number have to be identical ?
Any help really would be gratefully accepted.
I have attached a photo....I know right I even shocked myself...

This has matching Part # .
I have no idea if this is overpriced or not though?

Edit. This one has the same part# if you scroll down and is cheaper.

It may be worth ringing Mercedes breakers like Dronsfields with the part number A164 900 51 01 to see if they have one.
