Ml320 start error message

Ok I'm needing help again I parked up yesterday car running fine then this morning went out went to start car got start error message on mileage display tried both spare keys nothing what can This be?

It could be the ring around the switch itself, aam module or both the keys could be faulty. Both keys being faulty is a long shot but I have seen it before.

Hi don't think it's the keys as have main key and 2 spare 3 in all and sorry to sound dumb but u say the switch itself? Could you explain a little more please as I don't want to take it to be repaired and pay more than I have to ..

The plastic pick up around the key hole. Not the switch.

Hi had the plastic bit round the bit were i put the key changed but still no start any other ideas I could try pls

Have you had someone look tacit properly?

There is no point in throwing parts at it to fix it.
