Hi all,

I am looking at the ML350 AMG Sport for my next car, been to a dealer and asked about the optional alpaca grey or beige leather as I don't want black or the standard Artico black artificial leather, this is what is stated in the price list and of course the dealer hasn't a clue saying only "they wouldn't remove the sports interior would they!"

" When choosing optional leather the interior differs from the standard AMG sports interior. The 4 spoke wheel, seats etc etc are of a different design. Only if the black nappa leather is selected is the AMG sports interior retained"

Has anyone encountered this and can offer advise

thanks,

What are you asking exactly??

Mercedes seem to think that is you want a sport model you will only want black leather.

Change from black and you will get the standard interior.

if you need online parts so contact mbzparts.com here you get millions parts of Mercedes

Hello, did you manage to find out the answer to your question (can't seen made comments).

Basically, I had the same issue when visting a dealer on the weekend.
It seems that upgrading from the 'standard' artico (read man-made leather) to proper leather on the AMG version, changes the steering wheel and removes the floor mats. On the latest version it doesn't mention anything about 'sport' being retained if you stick with black leather.
