Mobile MB Specialist around Kent

Hi all,

I think I have the Crankshaft Position Sensor issue on my W203 C320. Broke down on Sunday afternoon in the busiest road you can imagine and my car had to be recovered back home. Happened at a time when it was extremely hot. The car just wouldn't start after stalling on a junction waiting at the traffic lights on red. The car starts fine now since its been back on my drive but I don't want to risk getting it to a garage in case it stalls on me again en route.

Any good value mobile mechanics around that can sort this for me at my house?

Looking at the car in your avatar (he said as another 968 cab owner!) am I correct in thinking you're Maidstone way? If so, there's a guy named Steve in Maidstone who has been very highly spoken off in the past - although I do not know if he's still in business and I have not used him myself. No doubt there will be someone!

I'm in Orpington actually and have used Steve for years as he services both mine and my wife's MB's. Only snag is I don't trust that the car will get me to Maidstone without stalling again.

I'll have a search around for mobile MB mechanics.

Wright Tech Sidcup - just off the A20 between Crittals Corner and the Sidcup to Chislehurst road - not sure how you get into them, possibly by going to North Cray traffic lights and turning right towards Sidcup - the way the 51 bus goes from Orpington to sidcup, aka how I used to get to school!!
