Mobile Phone Console?

Hi guys,

Just a quick question:

To ge the holster for the phone mounted on the console trim piece, should it be pre drilled? Or just screw straight through it? How should the cable from the bottom of the holster be run to the "brain" of the CARK-91?

They don't come pre-drilled.

I screwed mine directly to the console with a nut at the back to hold it tight, and made another small squareish hole large enough for the wire going to the brain to run through.

You need to make the hole so that when the cradle is screwed to the console, it covers the hole for the wire to the brain unit - the wires then tuck neatly behind the cradle up into the hole and are held in place by the screwed on cradle.

You then need to run the cable behind the carpet / to wherever you have mounted the brain unit.

Dunno where the brain is gonna go yet, probably ask the guy who is installing it for me. there is loads of space in the trim piece (I went for the model without speaker, I'm using a DashLead instead). Could fix it in there somehow?
