Had a problem with my c43 amg sometimes failing to start up a few months ago.
Phoned mobilo and they diagnosed a failed cps, had the cps ( crankshaft position sensor ) replaced at home and paid £117.60 ( £98+ vat )
Browsing the mb website after the mobilo chap had departed I came across the following - "If your Mercedes-Benz can no longer be driven due to a breakdown and the repair is a minor one that can be completed at the roadside, Mercedes-Benz will cover the cost of labour and small parts. This excludes the cost of batteries (unless within the warranty period) / tyres / keys / fluids"
Phoned customer services and asked what they classed as a minor repair, after a long period holding on the phone they replied any repair up to £130 so I explained my situation above and was asked to submit a copy of the receipt, after a couple of weeks I received a cheque in the post for £117.60 from my local retailer.
Thumbs up for mercedes mobilo :0)
