I thought it was for 30 years as long as your car was serviced by MB within the last 2 </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">3  30-year coverage (**) (**) for mechanical breakdowns or problems starting.

Have a look through the site Mobilo-Life see what you all think, I'm sure there's all get out clauses as usual  <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wallbash.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':bash:'>

It would be good to see into the future and see if they still respond as quick for a 29yr old car as they did for Matt's <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> .

I might as Ford if my wifes service is warranted for 29yrs <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> .

I don't understand what it's trying to say! &nbsp;Does it mean I have access to service24/MobiloLife or not? &nbsp; What's with the 4 year clause and what does that 28/10/1998 date have to do with anything?

useless!! &nbsp;<img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

I've got a leaflet that was with my service history/manual and after reading that and following the graphs/charts similar to whats on that web site I take it that, For all Mercedes Benz registered after 28/10/98 have access to this Mobilo Life/Service 24 , as long as your car has been serviced by MB in the last 2 years. The first 4 years is more comprehensive after that you still have this 30 year corrosion warranty(from the inside out &nbsp; <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/whatsthat.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':wotthat:'> ) and breakdown cover.
But it is a bit confusin whats included and whats not.

Next time i'm in the dealer I'll ask about it or maybe at the Motor-show next Friday &nbsp;<img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

I'm confused too. <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/butbut.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':butbut:'>

Mine is a 1999 with full MB service history, should I cancel my AA cover and save £90 a year?

I found the leaflet a bit confusing and couldn't see a telephone number to use when you breakdown. I am always suspicious of these things and am not sure to how genuine it is, there always seems to be get out clauses somewhere in the small print.

I too will ask my dealer when I am next in for a service.

Unfortunately you wont be able to ask at the Motorshow as Mercedes (along with BMW) have decided that they are far too busy to attend!  <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

Shude,

The significance of the date 28 OCT 98 is that if your car is registered before this date, like mine for example 22MAR98, then the 30 year anti-perforration warranty does NOT cover your car. If however your car is registered after this date then you are covered by 30 year anti-perforration warranty (Only if the car is serviced and repaired by MB through-out its lifetime).

I found this out today after I phoned my local MB stealership to ask their advice because my car is being repaired by my insurance company and NOT MB. I thought it would affect my warranty, only to be told I'm not covered by it <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
