modifying rear cloth heardests to leather front ones :)

well after changing my interior over to the c43 one i was missing the rear headrests, i did have the original cloth ones and a pair of black front leather ones spare but they are different sizes and the inserts are different.. i though bugger this lets see if i can pull em apart and sort something out..well after about 20 mins all was done... managed to swap the internal bit of the headrests over from the cloth ones to the leather ones and saved myself a few pennies too

you did well to find a C43 interior for an estate, Im looking out for a set for mine in black still not 10 a penny though, keep looking for a whole salvage auction car

i didnt..!! this c43 interior came out of a saloon car.. the front seats and the rear bench seat are an exact fit ( but i did strip the leathers off the electric seats onto my non electric sports leather seats so i could have a non electric manual front seat set up) as fitting the electrics would be an utter nightmare. it was the rear upper back seats that are totally different, but i stripped the leathers off and took them to a local upholsterer and asked them what they could do by using the black leather off my old interior to add the extra bits i needed to match the rear upper bench seat.. cost me a couple of hundred pounds but they did a great job and now after putting it all back i now have a very rare manually operated fully fitted estate c43 2 tone interior...yipeee.. im learning that if you put your mind to it anything is possible.
