more bubbles than an aero

Hi guys
Ive got a c220 diesel and for the life of me I cant stop air coming up from the fuel warmer into filter and running like a bag of ****e
please for any solutions that dont involve a gallon of bp's finest and a match ?

in the E300 TD there are rubbers pipes running from the solid metal pipes that come from the tank and they do cracked as they dry with time/ heat etc...
Also on the E the problem is the tank strainer that got clogged and the pump try to suck anything it can and if you have any teeny craked somewhere it will suck air as well...
Might be time to change the Orings on the clear pipes as well?
