I only hope fines go up for other misdemeanors like drunk and disorderly behavior which is a far bigger menace than a speeding motorist.

Always the way, and it's because the AA and RAC are so spineless that they don't resist this.

Fine in a way, its been £60 for god knows how long, but I'd like to see the fines applied to those drunkards who terrorise city centers at 3am, those that drink cans of beer out in public with the similar contempt for misdemeanors that a motorist endures. I don't see it happening.

Well, if they get the chumps who dont bother with seatbelts or use their phone handset while driving, then I'm happy with a few spot fines to teach people a lesson.

So am I but a wonder through Glasgow city center showed me that the real chumps are those vomiting in the streets, drinking cans of lager on the station platform and making a racket for no apparent reason.
