So the other day one of the seals between the external sill trim and the sill cover fell out.
Why? Well basically because the bodyshop that resprayed my car last year for some reason chose to try and stick it in with some adhesive rather than use the proper clips. In fact the proper clips were missing completely. As was the seal end that wedges into towards the front of the sill. Both sides were the same
So I acquired two new seals and 14 new clips and tonight set about fixing them.
The pics below show the new clips in position. You can get them in after removing the sill trims and unscrewing the top of the sill covers and then forcing your fingers down the back. A bit of a PITA!
Last pic shows the area cleaned up as it was filthy under there.
The light went so will finish them in the morning, but the hard bit is done I think.
