SWMBO and I are thinking of a short break, we like to get out and about. Morocco looks do-able, 3 and a bit hours direct flight times to Casablanca. We're looking at 3 days on the ground and a nice hotel is essential :).

With the widely travelled clientele on MBClub, does anyone have any pointers? TIA..

    Cheers,

    Plug

    nope.. but its bloody fantastic..

have stayed there twice now.. and once u experience it, u just wanna work harder to pay for the next trip.

we have done the zebra room both times, and i am a very savvy person, but this place is a bargain compared to what you get!

morocco is nice i usually go down south to agadir and its nicer

i found Casablanca to be very dirty and busy pace of life as agadir was more relaxing

and only a ferry ride to canneries and other islands

Morocco is spectacular... Casablanca is a bit... meh... dusty and touristy...

Try just about anywhere else... even Marakesh, which is just as touristy is better!

Have you considered driving there? You need 2 days to drive down, but it's worth it for a week!

Love the travel blog Spinal, especially the trip to Timbuktu! We've been there too, but I'm afraid we did not drive across the desert...
