Any one here own or know of Mercs with every conceivable extra?- (a lot of sellers claim this- but what is the reality?)
I assume it will be the S class that will have most.
I do recall What Car? had a 300ce -24v with 9k of extras(24% extra). Also saw E320 cabriolet as listed with 15k of extras - and thus costing 55k when new in total -but base price has been incorrectly listed at 39k - when it should be 49K)

Keyless Go and Electric memory steering column (among other godies) on a CLK. Unusual as more common on SLs. Does make the car enjoyable.
Must say I was surprised and delighted to find the same features on my Micra dCI. Not the steering column but it does have keyless go and the doors lock from a small black button on the doors and hatch if keys are in your pocket. Useful on the school run with a toddler, coat and school rucksack in one hand, and gloves cum paintings for the day in my other hand.

    17" MB alloys
    Mudflaps
    MB roof spolier
    Boot tub
Privacy glass from the B pillar back
    Full leather
    Heated seats
    Electric seats
    Comand
    CD changer
    Ipod
    Linguatronic:bannana:
    Rain sensor
    Auto dim RVM
    Integrated child seats
    Seat comfort pack
    Illuminated door sills
    Leather trim to door inserts
    Phone pre-wiring

Designo black door trim, centre console etc.
    Folding mirrors

Mods coming: Digital TV, possibly reversing camera too;)

The two things it doesnt have that I'd really like are Xenons and digital climate. Sadly the climate upgrade on an A class is nowhere near as easy as it is on a W203:(

My E300D Estate has almost every option ticked bar a minor few, especially rare for a Diesel. One of the main attractions to the car for me.

My previous 7 Series had everything ticked, and i really do mean everything bar 2 options: child isofix brackets in the rear and a sunroof!

My mate in Thailand's CLK 200. Bought around 10 years ago new the options cost more than the car  (many Bangkokians dont bother with big engines as the car never uses its full potential around town). It had that linguatronic thing which NEVER worked for him. Of course anytime I got in the car it would listen to my english which really irked him.

That car is one of about 10 in his fleet so its currently on less than 30,000 miles. I keep telling him to buy a new one and send me his old one but frankly bits just randomly fall off it - I dont think its a shining example of Merc build quality. That said theres no rust on it:rolleyes:

Ive never had a car through Mercland with every extra.. technically its not even possible as you have to trade options to have others in most cases..

My E500 has almost everything now... all the button spaces are filled and I cant think of anything that could be added...
