hi guys,
alternator sorted and a recon set of clocks are in,time for it to go for mot,
cars been stood for 8 month easy and only started 3 times so it will be interesting to see what it fails on,all the lights etc work,i be very surprised if it passes as its been stood 8 month like i say.

Good luck! I have an 88 300CE which has only done 14 miles from one mot to the next! It only had the same advisories as before, and that's at the main dealership, with their £10 mot offer.

I'de suggest an Italian tuneup on the way to the garage... clear out some of the soot in the exhaust at least, and lower a bit your emissions...

That's what round-roads are for, you can continue on them until you naturally stop (or hit a parked car on the M25)

It passed but had advisory front pads getting low.
Just goes to show how well built these cars are as its bern stood 8 month
