Moulding c180

Hi all,
The moulding on my c180 is broke,or should i say the two front clips have come away from the body and when i took them out i found them v hard to get them (clips)to go back in to place,The mouldings as i call them run along the bottom of the car.Any Ideas

had a similar problem with the chrome strip on the side of my W210 . Dealer wanted £90 for complete new moulding .

Went to local motor shop they had a box of different size & shape plastic fixing for trim - bought a selection for around £1 and experimentation and a rubber mallet fixed the trim in place. About six months ago & still there :bannana: :bannana:

Havent gone to steelership yet on dought it will cost an arm and a leg

problem is they dont sell the clips - you have to replace the whole strip

I think super glue might do the trick.

Just an up date on the mouldings,went to belgarde motors today and got the two clips for 3.35 euros not bad thought i would have to get the hole moulding.
