mp3 on Clk 2003

What is the best way to enable mp3 for my clk?

i know there is a option to unlock and enable mp3 on a e class, but i cant find any info on how to do this on my clk.

what are my options? will a mp3 changer work? if so which is the best one to get and will i be able to use my steering wheel to select tracks etc???

You have four options, assuming your car is a pre facelifted CLK.

1). Add the AUX in port to the COMAND (if you have one).

2). Replace your CD changer (if you have one) for a Dension gateway.

3). Add adension gateway to your D2B bus with a switch to select CD changer or MP3 input.

4). Get one of those awful FM transmitter things!

If you have COMAND you could also add a TV tuner or AV adapter then fit a DVD player capable of playing MP3s. That's what I was thinking of doing anyway...

Yeah i have TV tuner, so would i just need to hook up a dvd player to one of the av ports?

yeah, ordered a dvd play with aux in for ipod, getting fitted on saturday.
