I have a W203 with the standard single disc CD player in. I am looking at buying and MP3 player, what is the best way to listen to this in the car.

I have seen various diffenrent methods, including FM transmitters (similar to an I trip illegal in the UK !!!) the tape adaptor that i used to used wth CD players before i had a CD head unit (many years ago)

Any idea/comments on the best method, i don't really want to a new head unit.

Many Thanks

I think your only option is the FM way as the single loader CD has no AUX input. I've never seen of anything that could "plug in" the CD and give an input lead for the MP3 player (like a reverse of the one where you have the cassette adaptor).

I use an iTrip. Cheap, and better than nothing til the car goes. Fair bit of interference during quieter bits of music but on the whole not bad and beats being restricted to 6 cds
