I think you E55BOF are very rude in your pointing a finger in my direction and trying to besmirch my good character, both of which I resent in the strongest possible terms.

Just because I happen to like the English language and use it in my posts with the use of more than a single word, single sentence replies or content, doesn't make me verbose,. Further more, I answer questions that have been put to me, stand my ground and rise to most unpleasant posts that have been fired in my direction, which categorically does not mean I have an attitude problem, just that I have been placed in a position to defend myself and if you had taken the trouble to read and digest their content, you would not need me to spell this out to you.

I am a rational and kind person that as far as I see it is being bullied for no apparent reason, other than a few old boys in a group have got together to discuss me behind my back and decided to make my time on the forum as unpleasant as possible - no more no less.

I cannot recall anyone on the forum that has ever been so unaware of self, of their abberant behaviours, who, in reality are incapable of listening to advice, take offence at anything and everything and then try to dictate how members may respond to them , how they wish that emojis are not used in reply to posts that they see as belittling them etc.

Rational and intellectual debate is pointless with people like this

I believe representation to Admin has already been made by a number of members regarding these behaviours.

I cannot be bothered in pandering to the ego of an irrrelevance.

Hi , I am not the most popular member on this forum but I have always been treated with respect and defended by members who have chastised me in previous posts.

If an old boys network exists I have never found or seen any evidence of such a network.Forum members do openly meet and no doubt become friends.

Its not for me to tell or suggest anything to you by when I had my C207E400 this forum were a great help to me.

The member in particular has been an irritant since almost the they joined. Hence I and others blocking them after some extended and ultimately pointless exchanges.

No doubt they are still replying but I won't witness their drivel or be party their delusions. The "old boys club" comment was typical, don't get the replies they want or feel entitled to and blame someone else rather than look at their own behavior.

I have never previously received so many messages from other members regarding a new members attitude,, verbose posting and lack of self awareness.

Discussing anything was pointless. They would drag you down to their level and beat you with experience (they probably think that's a compliment!)

Thank you for taking the trouble to put up this post Fastcar155 and I respect where you are coming from, not only that but I am really pleased you have found members supportive and also helpful when you had you your C270E400 as this for me is just what forums are supposed to be about.

Please understand me when I say this, I completely understand and have no objection to members sending personal massages, meeting up or becoming friends, however, what I don't particularly like and resent is being discussed behind my back or out in the open for that matter, as well as having my character bashed by people who don't know or understand me. I will say this though, the reason for pointing out the DMs etc., was to prove the point in using the posts put up by lets term them the 'main poster', that what I termed the 'Old Boys Club' or 'Cronies' if you will, did indeed exist, whether or not you had been or are aware of it yourself.

I have no desire to bring you into the mess I have unwittingly found myself in with a few what I term unpleasant members on this forum who seem hellbent on giving me a hard time and besmirching my good name, but since you have joined this thread, sadly that is inevitable now. So I will say this, please do read and digest the contents of this one thread alone, as I feel pretty sure you will very soon get the gist of what I have been subjected to, especially from the main poster. Further to this, he has said he has blocked me as have allegedly others, but in reading his latest post, you will surely note, he continues to berate me in the most vile and unpleasant way, especially given the opportunity to do so.

As I'm assure you will appreciate, this is not how I expect to be treated by a fellow member, it does not show any kind of respect and it is certainly not how I would expect to be treated by an adult on an international forum. I find this sort of behaviour despicable and churlish, and would go so far as to say I believe words of this type do nothing to support the Mercedes-Benz marque quite the contrary in fact. Thank you for you message rf065 and I have indeed taken time out to ponder over its content.

I am not quite sure if your saying "have never witnessed anything like this" is down to the crux of the thread or my reply in particular, but either way I can only sincerely apologise for your having had to see this now after being a member since 2007, and assure you of this, it is not a pleasant situation to be on the end of a barrage of verbal abuse either.

Just out of interest, I was and had been completely chilled since the thread lay dormant for a week now, only to be resurrected today, which has left my mental wellbeing in one hell of a turmoil I can tell you.

Now if you would be so kind, perhaps you might like to offer the same sentiments to DSM10000, so that he might leave me alone, as he has made it quite clear on several occasions, he won't get to read any of my posts.

I get the impression that @DesireeE prefers to fight their own battles rather than go running to admin to complain. Moaning to the administrators about the actions of others is what we expect from children like Max Verstappen.

Without doubt, there are one or two members here who seem to relish every opportunity to antagonise others. Just like school bullies, what they enjoy the most is getting a reaction. Most of us just ignore them, but sometimes someone like @DesireeE stands up to them and they don't like it. Then just like the school bully they go to their friends to try to muster support, knowing that they're incapable of withstanding resistance on their own. It's standard procedure.

Most of us are can't be bothered with the aggro, so we tell the 'bully' to FO and we block them. But occasionally someone will attempt to stop the intolerable behaviour because they don't want to see others subjected to it. Telling on the perpetrator isn't in their DNA, they prefer to deal with such matters directly. I can't help but admire people who stick up for themselves like that.
