MSL First Visit

I had my ATF serviced twice in the space of 3 months.

I had the transmission service done at PCS 3 months ago and yesterday as well because of the Weistec sump!!

I've also had the TCU software updated with the STAR, such a big improvement, it's silky smooth now and for 99% of the time it knows what you want.

Before I use to drive it in S mode all the time, now I can't simply because it's too aggressive, I have to switch it to C mode!

I'm ashamed to say mines always in C as S just is mad for everyday driving lol.

I forgot to ask what they actually do for an A service lol.

I assume its Oil, filters, air filter and then had my gearbox and filter done.

I made the mistake of looking at a full IPE system being fitted too

When you go to MSL for a minor service by the end of the day Acid will likely to send you out with a supercharger plus other mods, lol!! :D

Lol I know want them headers now to get past 550bhp :D

I drove 260 miles to MSL to get my Quaife Diff fitted, I've been there before for a car event and it is indeed a great place and you always see some amazing cars there!

I've never believed anything is sealed for life.

Me neither - doesn't make sense (unless the individuals doing it have no ability and / or take no care whatsoever).

Unless people are happy with the life being less than 100k!

I don't really understand the staunch advocates of gearboxes being sealed.

Anybody with a Mercedes STAR can do this.

I got Olly @ PCS to update the TCU for me.

This is interesting news!

I had my gearbox oil changed at my B-Service... But I'm convinced they didn't do the software. They never mentioned it etc, however if I ring up, it'll be the usual 'It'll be an hours labour to look at it sir'.

I'm absolutely sick of the dealers!

They won't check till you ask them, before I bought my C350 Coupe I asked them to update everything including Comand online. There's definitely at least one TCU update for the 799.2
